From the field
I’ve worked in HVAC for over a decade, and I run 3rdGen Building Systems, a mechanical design-build firm in the Bay Area. Week after week I watched work fall through the cracks between the email, the text thread, the estimate and the schedule. The software we could buy either tried to replace everything or didn’t fit how a trade shop actually runs.
So I started building the tools I needed and using them at Building Systems. 3rdGen Labs is my separate software business, where I develop those tools for other contractors too.
